About three weeks ago Ammon gave us a very special gift...he slept completely through the night. Finally, after 8 months he finally did it and has done it several times since then. I think that having mommy and daddy home together has helped him get into a good schedule.
Ammon's first tooth popped up recently and the second is about to come through. He is really good at chopping his Cheerios with his little tooth. Plus, his smile is all the sweeter.
He is talking a lot now and I have heard him call for "mama" a few times. He loves to be heard and to talk to the other kids in Lona's daycare.
We know that he'll be crawling any day now, which will be exciting. However, it will be hard for us to see him become more independent.
We gave Ammon a bowl of mashed potatoes and let him go at it. Ammon is getting good at feeding himself and is currently attempting to use a spoon himself. In fact, he gets very mad if he is not allowed his own spoon or if you try to help him. We all know where that stubborness comes from.
We just love this polo shirt. It makes him look like our little man.
This is the smile that melts our hearts.
Now that the weather is nice, we are able to take Ammon out and enjoy our neighborhood park. He loves to be outside and mommy takes him for walks nearly every day.
Ammon loves to grab everything! He enjoys playing with his toys and does a good job sharing with others, even if they don't always want to share with him.

Lona & Nathan......He's getting more handsome with every passing day. I hope I get to see him again in person before he is all grown up.
