It's official...we will be living in Connecticut. The town where we will be living is just a few miles from the Rhode Island border and not too far of a commute for Nathan to the Air National Guard base at Quonset Airport. We are sad to leave Kansas and the friends that we have made, but we are excited for our new adventure. Nathan will be moving into the house at the end of October and begin his new job on November 1st. Lona is hoping to start a preschool from the home and has already begun researching the area. 
On Labor Day, a family from the ward hosted a "Beach Party" from their river front property. They had a BBQ, swimming, paddle boats, and volleyball. Ammon and his friend Elijah had fun throwing the volley ball and swinging from the net.
Ammon enjoyed playing "at the beach" and riding in the paddle boats.
Ammon loved walking in the water with Daddy and making mommy nervous by trying to run into the water.
Ammon likes to wrestle just like his daddy. His pal Roman is one of his wrestling buddies.
There is little fear in this boy! He loves to be thrown into the air and the higher the better. He lets daddy know when he wants to fly by saying, "one, two, three" and pointing up to the sky.
Ammon is up to his old tricks again. This neighborhood girl, Gia, is one of his many girlfriends.
One of Ammon's favorite activities is feeding the ducks at one of the local parks in Derby. The ducks come running as soon as they see Ammon coming!
