Ammon had a hard time leaving so many of his good friends from the neighborhood and Lona's day care. Here is Ammon with his friend Gia, who lived down the street and also spent time in the day care.

We stopped in Kansas City the first night and spent the next morning at Hallmark's Kaleidoscope child center. It is a cool place where kids can create all kinds of crafts.

The next stop was St Louis, where we stayed with Nathan's cousin, Keoni and his family. In the morning, we hit the St Louis zoo. Here is Lona and Ammon in front of the hippo tank.
Ammon loves penguins. He demanded that we see them right away. Although you could literally reach out and touch the penguins, Ammon was only allowed to touch this fake one.
Lona and I got tired of walking, but for some reason, Ammon never got tired.
Ammon wasn't scared of the zoo Halloween graveyard...
...But he was scared of this crazy witch who tried to cook him.

The next stop was in Dayton, OH, where we stayed with Nathan's former supervisor, Bryan Collins and his family. Ammon was not cooperating for pictures, so we only have this cute picture of Benjamin and Will, who Ammon calls 'Men and Baby Will. 
The next day, we stopped at Hershey, PA and Ammon got a close-up look of one of his favorite things...chocolate.
Ammon got to be a factory worker and package some Hershey's Kisses. 
He didn't care much for the factory worker hat, but we don't care what he wants. It's what looks best for the camera!

For Halloween, a member of our ward hosted a Trunk-or-Treat. Ammon was a dragon. 
Ammon was a little scared of all the new people in scary costumes, so he needed mommy and daddy's help to get his loot.
After the Trunk-or-Treat, we went to a local neighborhood and Ammon went crazy running from house to house.

Ammon had a great time with his Nana. Grandma and Grandpa King came to visit a week after we arrived to CT.
Ammon is always happy when he is with a Papa.
Lona and Nana King took Ammon to the Children's Museum in Providence, RI.
Ammon loved all of the hands-on displays. Finally, a place where mommy and daddy aren't yelling at him to not touch.
We took a trip to Newport to do the Cliff Walk along the beach and the Newport mansions. Ammon loved the beach. He would run up to the tide when it was out and throw handfuls of sand. Then he would run away as the tide came in.
