On February 10th, 2005, Lona and I went to the OB to find the sex of the baby. After 4 excruciating minutes, it was announced that there was no doubt it was a baby boy. We were also told that everything was developing properly and were given a video of the entire ultrasound. We are very excited to become parents!
Lona's tummy is starting to look so cute and she is feeling him kick often. The baby only stops kicking when Lona wants him to kick for someone. It seems that the baby has inherited Lona's strong will a.k.a stubbornness.
Lona is living in Arizona while I am in Kansas. It has been hard to be away, but we are planning several visits so that we can still share the magic of pregnancy. Lona plans on coming to Kansas for the birth. It will be an amazing event and we both can't wait!

I was in the delivery room for our daughter and would do it again. We now have 7 grand children, all born at home, five born under water. It was so nice being at home watching the birth of our grand children. Home birth avoids the "hospital rules" feeling and very much more relaxed atmosphere.
